Workshops vs. lab tour
The Leadership Summit offers both workshops and a laboratory tour as optional add-on experiences.
Both take place on the first day of the event and are designed to provide deeper learning opportunities beyond the main conference program.

Important scheduling note: The afternoon lab tour takes place during the same general portion of the day as the afternoon workshops. Attendees participating in the lab tour will therefore need to choose between the tour and an afternoon workshop. Morning workshop participants should plan to arrive in Salt Lake City the day before the Summit begins so they are ready for the 9:00 AM start.

Frequently asked questions
No. Workshops are optional add-on experiences and require a separate ticket. Each workshop costs $189.
All six workshops take place on Monday, April 12, 2027, the first day of the Leadership Summit.
Morning workshops run from 9:00–11:15 AM, and afternoon workshops run from 1:30–3:45 PM.
You can attend up to two workshops: one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop, provided you are not participating in another activity that overlaps with your selected workshop.
Each workshop requires a separate $189 ticket.
The afternoon lab tour overlaps with the afternoon workshop portion of the program, so attendees participating in the lab tour will need to choose between the tour and an afternoon workshop.
If you’re registered for a morning workshop, we strongly recommend arriving in Salt Lake City on Sunday, April 11, so you’re ready for the 9:00 AM start on Monday.
If you’re attending only an afternoon workshop, plan to arrive early enough on Monday to travel to the hotel, check in as needed, and be ready for the 1:30 PM start.

Workshops are designed to be interactive, so capacity is limited. Advance registration is recommended to secure your preferred workshop.
