Registration & attendance

The Leadership Summit is designed for laboratory managers, directors, safety professionals, operations leaders, research scientists, QA/QC professionals, executives, and other laboratory professionals responsible for leading teams, operations, and organizational success.

No. While many attendees hold leadership positions, the Summit attracts professionals from a wide range of laboratory roles and experience levels.

Yes. Group discounts are available for organizations sending multiple attendees.

Yes. Single-day tickets are available for attendees who are unable to participate in the full Summit experience. Registration details and pricing can be found on the registration page

Standard registration includes access to Summit sessions, networking events, the exhibit hall, meals specified in the agenda, and event activities included with your registration type.

Meeting registrations are nontransferable.

Cancellation requests received in writing by February 12, 2027 are eligible for a full refund. Requests received after February 12 and by March 12, 2027 are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after March 12, 2027.

To request a cancellation, please email summit@labmanager.com.

If the Lab Manager Leadership Summit is canceled by the organizers, registrants will receive a full refund or may transfer their registration to the next in-person Summit.

FAQ

Workshops & lab tours

No. Workshops are optional add-on experiences that require a separate ticket. Each workshop costs $189 and can be added during registration.

No. The ARUP Laboratories tour is an optional add-on experience that requires a separate ticket. The tour costs $50 per person and can be added during registration.

Yes. Workshop and lab tour capacity is limited and some experiences may sell out before the event.

We recommend registering as early as possible to secure your preferred workshop selections.

Yes. You can attend one of the morning workshops from 9:00–11:15 AM and participate in the ARUP Laboratories tour that afternoon.

The lab tour overlaps with the afternoon workshop portion of the program, so you will need to choose between the ARUP tour and an afternoon workshop.

FAQ

Travel & accommodations

The 2027 Leadership Summit will take place at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Yes. Leadership Summit attendees can take advantage of a discounted room rate of $209 per night at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center through the official event room block.

To receive the discounted rate, you must book your stay through the Leadership Summit reservation link by March 22, 2027. We encourage you to book early, as availability within the room block is limited and the discounted rate is not guaranteed after the cutoff date.

The Hilton Salt Lake City Center is approximately 10–15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Most attendees do not need a rental car while attending the Summit.

Business casual attire is appropriate for most Summit activities. Meeting room temperatures can vary, so we recommend dressing in layers or bringing a light sweater or jacket to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the day.

Absolutely. Many attendees attend on their own and quickly build connections through workshops, networking events, meals, and roundtable discussions.

Networking is a core part of the Leadership Summit experience and happens naturally throughout the event.

Yes. Speakers frequently participate in networking events, discussions, and informal conversations throughout the Summit.

No. The Leadership Summit is not a traditional trade show. While the event includes an exhibit hall where attendees can connect with industry partners and solution providers, the primary focus is leadership development, professional growth, and peer learning. The exhibit hall also serves as a central gathering space for meals, networking receptions, and informal conversations throughout the event.

The Summit combines practical leadership education, interactive learning, approachable networking, and a strong sense of community in a way that differs from many traditional conferences.
