Kelly Sullivan, PhD she/her

<p>Kelly Sullivan is the global head of operations and labs at CIC. She is a skilled lab professional with firsthand knowledge of scientists' needs and decades of experience designing and managing labs, facilities, and the people who work in them. Prior to joining CIC, she managed facilities in the nascent legalized cannabis industry. Her expertise in compliance, licensing, systems management, and relationship building, along with certifications in facilitative leadership, safety, and lean principles makes her an outstanding resource for the Lab Manager community.<br />
Kelly earned a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a PhD in Biochemistry from Purdue University, where she concentrated in mechanistic enzymology with a focus in structural biology. She also conducted postdoctoral research at Purdue before continuing that work at the University of Louisville. She joined CIC in December 2021 and now leads a growing global network of labs and campuses across the US, Europe, and Japan.</p>
