Reduce Decision Fatigue Across Your Workday

Some days; it can feel like every question; problem; and decision lands on your desk. A staffing issue needs an answer; a schedule has to change; an instrument goes down; and someone needs you to make a call on something else before you have finished dealing with the last problem. By the end of the day; even decisions that would normally feel straightforward can take more effort than they should.
This presentation will help leaders recognize where decision fatigue shows up in their work and reduce unnecessary pressure on themselves and their teams. Attendees will look at which decisions truly require their involvement; which can be delegated; and where clearer guidelines can make routine choices easier. The session will also address how to avoid becoming a bottleneck for supervisors and staff and how to preserve time and attention for decisions that carry greater risk or impact.
Key learnings
Attendees will learn how to:
Recognize when too many routine decisions are consuming leadership capacity
Separate decisions that require leader involvement from those that can be delegated
Create clearer guardrails that help supervisors and teams make decisions independently
Protect time and attention for higher-impact decisions
