Developing Capital Plans: Compete Effectively for Investment

<p>All labs require expensive equipment; instruments; and tools to complete their scientific work. Lab managers need to learn how to advocate for their labs and successfully compete for capital funds to drive these investments. This workshop will introduce lab managers to the key elements of capital planning; including needs analysis; budget planning; and effective persuasion skills.</p>
<p>Participants will learn how to develop a rolling capital plan; write effective business cases; establish a meaningful return on investment; and build a proposal to win senior management approval for their lab’s needs.</p>

Develop persuasive arguments to win approval for capital proposals<br />
