How Your Team Sees It: Understanding Perceptions in the Lab

<p>What a manager intends to communicate and what employees actually hear are not always the same thing. In the lab; those gaps can shape trust; fuel assumptions; affect morale; and influence how people respond to decisions or change. This session will look at how perceptions form in the workplace and how lab managers can respond when those perceptions do not match their intent. Attendees will learn how their own communication; consistency; and behavior can influence how employees interpret situations; as well as how managers' assumptions about staff can shape their own decisions. The session will offer practical ways to address misunderstandings; listen for what may be driving them; and communicate with greater clarity and awareness.Key learnings<br />
